Secondary Metabolites Produced by Neofusicoccum Species Associated with Plants: A Review
نویسندگان
چکیده
The genus Neofusicoccum is comprised of approximately 50 species with a worldwide distribution and typically associated plants. well-known for the diseases it causes on economically ecologically relevant host In particular, members this are responsible grapevine diseases, such as leaf spots, fruit rots, shoot dieback, bud necrosis, vascular discoloration wood, perennial cankers. Many secondary metabolites, including (?)-botryoisocoumarin A, botryosphaerones, cyclobotryoxide isosclerone, were identified from their structural variability bioactivities might be role these compounds in fungal pathogenicity virulence. review, we summarize metabolites focusing interaction between fungus plant.

Identification of some secondary metabolites produced by four Penicillium species
Fungi produce a wide range of secondary metabolites such as antibiotics, toxins, alkaloids, fatty acids, ketones and alcohols during active cell growth. The present study was aimed to identify secondary metabolites from some Penicillium species, using GC-MS. Many important compounds such as 3-oxoquinuclidine in Penicillium jenseii, formamidine in Penicillium pusillum, orcinol and 1,3,8-p-mentha...

Objective: The genus Trichoderma comprises a great number of fungal strains that act as biological control agents, the antagonistic properties of which are based on the activation of multiple mechanisms. Methods: Trichoderma strains exert biocontrol against fungal phytopathogens either indirectly, by competing for nutrients and space, modifying the environmental conditions, or promotin...
